Overdone

It's been a while since my last blog because, well, there just hasn't been all that much going on. But having absolutely nothing relevant to say has never stopped me before. No, it's mostly because BeanSS and I have beeen working our heads off and lately, my health has been less than perfect. I've been feeling well enough for bike commuting but not quite well enough for the big weekend grunts on the mountain bikes. And what began as some minor hay fever from the desert broom pollen had, as of Thursday evening, devolved into something viral where I ache all over, slip in and out of fevers, and have about half of my normal lung capacity. I rode home from work yesterday with this stuff well underway and I nearly keeled over at the top of the last climb. When I got inside, I immediately dove under the blankets and slept for 3 hours. Now, both commuting and fun riding are off the agenda until this passes.

But in less diseased news, BeanSS hooked me up with some excellent birthday presents - DVDs of Archer, the complete Indiana Jones collection, and The Pacific miniseries! These were great choices, especially considering my state; I don't think I'll be getting too far from the couch for a while.
